Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 inhabitants, a strong business community, residential environments close to the sea, and good communication opportunities. The municipality has a well-developed cultural and association life as well as good conditions for outdoor activities and recreation. The municipality's vision is to reach 35,000 inhabitants by 2035. Stenungsund Municipality is part of the Gothenburg Region's municipal association, which is a forum for cooperation and exchange of experiences, as well as several other inter-municipal collaborations.

The municipality is organized into an administration with four sectors. The Support Functions sector includes finance, personnel, administration, communication, property, and meals. The mission of the support functions is to facilitate and streamline operations.

The Property Function, with its 35 employees, has the task of providing the best possible service to the municipality's administration and operations based on needs, demand, and requests. We actively work to increase our dialogue and meet the needs and wishes of the operations. The function includes project management, property management, property maintenance, and service to the municipality's operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who are interested in becoming our next colleague and part of our fantastic team!

As a property caretaker, you will work with property maintenance both indoors and outdoors, as well as provide service to the municipality's operations. The assignment includes repair/maintenance of properties, handling fault reports and service requests for the municipality's operations, green space maintenance, snow removal, and technical management of systems such as access control, fire alarms, and heating systems. You will be part of a team with other property caretakers but also need to be able to work independently. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday, with weekend work every sixth week.

To thrive in the role, you need to have good social and communication skills as the work involves daily meetings/contacts with several internal and external parties.

As a property caretaker and employee within the Property Function, you have a high service ability, a good attitude, and can create good relationships, which is a prerequisite for succeeding in this work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • Technical competence
  • Professional experience, at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Ability to perform tasks independently as well as in a team
  • Personal qualities: it is important to be service-oriented and have a good attitude, be flexible, and have practical skills
  • Driver's license B required

Desirable:

  • Experience in craft professions as well as practical knowledge of general property maintenance
  • Experience with fire alarms, access control systems, and other technical equipment
  • Experience in green space maintenance

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
